I bought my first investment property when I was 19. It was a 3 family in Everett MA. This one was listed for sale by a realtor.

Next I bought a single family in Mansfield Ma, I was running a dog walking business at the time and would walk by this house every day. I got the courage up to knock on the door and ask the owner if he wanted to sell. He was very happy I did. I bought it 3 weeks later and did some serious renovations!

The 3rd one I bought was across the street from a friends house in Easton MA. I wrote a letter to that one and sure enough the seller gave me a call! It needed work and I bought it without them having to do anything!
